$5 Single Song Submission
Who am I submitting music to?
All priority and general free submissions are to playlists, social media and websites owned by either or both Curators Playlist and Wardco Studios.
Is it guaranteed that my music will be added to a playlist?
Why do you charge for submissions?
All indie music we listen to on this website, in a playlist, or on social media could end up on one of our playlists or blogs. We never charge to listen to music for any Spotify, other types of playlists, or social media, but we listen to the music as time permits---which could be several days or weeks after submission. We only charge if you want to ensure that your music is listened to within a set time frame.
Please be sure to read the “Before submitting music you should know” section below.
NOTE: We do not offer a refund if your music submission is rejected. The fee was to listen to the music within a specific time frame. The fee does not guarantee that your music will be accepted.
While we love sharing your music, we are charging a small fee to cover our time for posting your submission on our twitter feed. Please be warned that any song that does not meet our standard could be rejected and we do not offer refunds. Because of this please, consider reading the rules included in “Before submitting music, you should know” as shown below to understand what types of indie music we accept. Basically, we don’t take violence-themed or hate-filled music lyrics.
Before submitting music, you should know:
(These terms also apply to ALL submissions to Curators Playlist.)
I want to be upfront and tell you we do not accept music that has an extremist viewpoint, is hate-filled, uses of explicit language including sexual terms, violence of any type, or is extremely disrespectful to women and/or gang-related, or has gang-looking or gangbanger artwork.
Sure, I love to listen to love/hate songs and revenge hate songs, but not if they are extremely violent toward someone. I also love a good drinking song or songs about partying in a bar. I don’t care if a song has a story that includes a gun or someone dies in a song, but there needs to be a specific story-telling reason. No music is accepted that is about killing people out of hate, including the police.
We feel music should be enjoyable, emotional, have meaning, be relaxing, or be fun. If that is not you, you are in the wrong place. If this is you, please submit your music …. We love helping Indie Musicians!!!
